My Wife Hired My Nurse is a five-episode series on Candy Shorts, the short-form video section of CandyAI. Jake is thirty-five and has just broken both hands. His wife books a home nurse, promising him “some sixty-year-old grandma”, and heads off to work. The nurse who walks in is Mila: thirty, blonde, blue uniform, top button undone. Everything he can no longer do for himself, she does, and because his wife is always out of the house when Mila is in it, the two women never meet. The comedy of a man who literally cannot lift a finger gives the series its flavour.

How to Watch My Wife Hired My Nurse: Free and Premium Episodes

Like every series on the platform, the five episodes are divided into a free and a premium half. Anyone with a CandyAI account can watch the first two, which set up the accident, the wife’s departure and Mila’s first day on the job, and make it clear the arrangement will be more complicated than planned. The final three episodes are gated behind premium access, and that is where the daily routine between patient and nurse develops into something neither of them mentions when the wife gets home. The free pair is generous enough to let you judge the tone and the chemistry before committing.

Episodes are brief, around two minutes apiece, and the series makes a virtue of that. Each one is effectively a single visit: Mila arrives, a task needs doing, Jake’s helplessness turns it into a scene, and the episode ends. Nothing is padded out, and the house itself restates the premise, so you can follow the five instalments in order to watch the dynamic shift day by day or drop into any one of them cold.

The Cast of My Wife Hired My Nurse

Mila Nowak, the Candy character the series is built around, plays the nurse, and the whole run leans on her. She is written as calmly competent, entirely unbothered by the situation and quietly aware of the effect she has, a sharper and funnier choice than making her obviously predatory. Jake, flailing in his casts, is the straight man, and the wife is a presence felt mostly through her absence and her confident wrong guess about who she hired. The same three figures carry across all five episodes with no reshuffling, so the small changes in how Jake and Mila deal with each other land as a progression rather than a series of restarts.

How My Wife Hired My Nurse Is Made

No camera was involved in any of this. The series is produced entirely by CandyAI’s generation pipeline, which creates every frame and keeps Mila Nowak and Jake consistent in appearance from one episode to the next, so the nurse who turns up in episode five is unmistakably the one who walked through the door in episode one. The visual style is smooth and stylised, with clean domestic interiors and a slightly polished look that sits closer to high-end animation than to filmed footage. Knowing that going in matters: the pleasure of the format is in watching a stable set of characters move through a serialised story, and a five-part run with a fixed cast shows off the technology far better than one-off clips do.

Where to Stream My Wife Hired My Nurse

To get going, create a free CandyAI account and the first two episodes open immediately. The CandyAI apps for iOS and Android are the most convenient way to watch, since two-minute episodes suit a phone screen, and upgrading to premium unlocks episodes three to five together with the rest of the gated library.

This is adult content, available only to viewers aged eighteen or over. Within those limits, My Wife Hired My Nurse is a neat piece of short-form storytelling: a single joke of a premise, a small cast that stays put, and five quick episodes that know exactly where the fun is.
