My guess is that there's a certain amount of fire-scarring or other flesh-marking that goes along with getting demonic powers. It's not that she's ALL purplish, she's kinda marbled or something.

If you look at https://www.c.urvy.org/?date=20241123 she doesn't look purple when she wakes up (but she does in the previous panels she appears in, which I hadn't noticed), so it must mean she gets purple at some point when she gets ready.
